Kunekune pork isn't like grocery-store pork — and that's the point. The cuts are smaller, the color is a deep rosy red, and the marbling is something you usually only see in fine steakhouse beef. Raised slow on Oklahoma pasture and processed under USDA inspection, this is pork worth planning a meal around.

Alongside our purebred herd, we're raising Kunekune crosses out of Fancy Feast, our Hereford sow. The goal: pair the Kunekune's legendary marbling and flavor with the Hereford's larger frame — bigger cuts, same pasture-raised quality. The first results are growing out on grass right now, and we can't wait to share them.
